META.MORF X – DIGITAL WILD

TRONDHEIM INTERNATIONAL BIENNALE FOR ART & TECHNOLOGY, MARCH 5 – MAY 3, 2020

Meta. Meta.Morf X – Digital Wild leaves the established narratives behind – instead bending and twisting our illusions about digital futures. The purposes of new technologies become twisted, and the obvious challenged. The rationale gets blurry, and we start to see the fascinating contour of a wild future we may be a part of. Outside of the accustomed perceptions, things quickly get wild and surreal – and kinky. [READ MORE]

META.MORF X – Digital Wild | Chapter II

Post Corona lockdown

The sixth Trondheim international biennale for art and technology opened March 5, 2020. On March 12 Norway locked down due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.

After two years in the making, our planned two month long biennale lasted for seven days. 12 exhibitions and events were cancelled or postponed. Fortunately we managed to open five exhibitions, and arrange two international conferences before the lockdown, without – to our knowledge – anyone got ill with CoViD-19.

The good news are that we have managed to gather many of the exhibitions and events that were scheduled to open after the lockdown, to open this fall instead.

Welcome to Meta.Morf X – Digital Wild, Chapter II!
