The concert will be a collaboration between Yershova and students from the NTNU Music Technology program, showcasing the results of a 4 day workshop on compositional exploration of new instruments. Notions of space in sound and sound in space will be touched upon, as well as improvisation as compositional strategy and different representations of sound.

Meeting/conversation with composer Angelina Yershova
Yershova will in her talk touch upon themes and techniques of her work as a composer and performer within the fields of electronic and electroacoustic music:

    • Improvisation as a compositional strategy: techniques and strategies to overcome its challenges.
    • Representation of sound with graphical score and dynamic transformation of sound.

**Active participation in the workshop is primarily for music technology students, but the lectures are open to the general public, as is the opportunity of being ‘in orbit’ with the work process towards the concert.
