The sixth Trondheim international biennale for art and technology opened March 5. On March 12 Norway locked down due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
After two years in the making, our planned two month long biennale lasted for seven days. 12 exhibitions and events had to be postponed or cancelled. Fortunately we managed to open five of the exhibitions, and not least, we got to arrange two international conferences without, to our knowledge, anyone got ill with CoViD-19.
The good news are that with amongst other extra economic support from Trondheim Municipality and the Norwegian Arts Council, we can present several of the postponed exhibitions and projects this fall instead. Meta.Morf X – part 2 opens September 2020!
